Technical Committee from the National Authority for Quality and Accreditation Visits the University to Assess the Readiness of Newly Established Faculties
A technical committee from the National Authority for Quality and Accreditation, led by the Authority’s President, Dr. Omar Hussein Hamada, visited the university today. They were received by Dr. Waad Omran, the University Secretary and Dean of Student Affairs. The visit aimed to assess the status of the newly established faculties, evaluating their academic, educational, and technical readiness, as well as the requirements for their opening.
The visit began with a meeting attended by committee members: Dr. Abdullah Al-Huwaish, Director of the Private Educational Institutions Department; Dr. Majd Al-Shawa, Director of Academic Sabbaticals at Damascus University; Dr. Mohammed Ayman Al-Kayyal, Dean of the Faculty of Medical Engineering at Al-Andalus University; Eng. Al-Batoul Sabbagh, Head of the Institutional Training Department at the Authority; and Mr. Ibrahim Al-Jairoudi, Director of Administrative Affairs at the university.
During the meeting, the status of the newly established faculties—along with the requirements for their establishment and equipping—was reviewed, and the associated academic, administrative, and technical aspects were discussed.
Following the meeting, the committee conducted a field tour of the university, visiting the faculties scheduled to open and their educational facilities. They inspected classrooms, laboratories, equipment, infrastructure, staff, and available resources to determine the extent to which the necessary readiness requirements for these faculties have been met.
