  • Dean of the Faculty of Informatics Engineering Participates in Artificial Intelligence and Scientific Research Workshop at Al-Furat University

As part of efforts to enhance academic cooperation and exchange expertise, Dr. Hayyan Al-Saba’i, Dean of the Faculty of Informatics and Communications Engineering at the International Private University for Science and Technology, participated in a workshop organized by the Directorate of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies at Al-Furat University. The workshop, titled “Artificial Intelligence and its Applications in Scientific Research: Towards Enhancing the Quality of Research Outputs,” was held as part of Al-Furat University’s Liberation Day celebrations.

Dr. Al-Saba’i’s lecture focused on the practical and applied aspects of research, showcasing several modern tools that effectively contribute to improving the quality of researchers’ papers. The presentation included techniques for improving professional writing skills and formatting, such as Ahrefs, as well as advanced tools for facilitating access to and analysis of relevant literature, such as Consensus and Elicit, and effective summarization tools like ChatPDF. These tools help produce more accurate and refined scientific research. The workshop was attended by Professor Dr. Munir Al-Aroud, President of Al-Furat University, his deputies, and Dr. Israa Al-Nuweiji, Director of Scientific Research, along with a large number of faculty members and graduate students. This enriched the discussion and opened new horizons for developing scientific research mechanisms.

This participation comes within the framework of the International Private University for Science and Technology’s efforts to strengthen its cooperation with other academic and research institutions, contributing to raising the level of education and developing research practices, and thus supporting the academic community in providing innovative and developmental solutions that meet current scientific challenges.
