Discussion of the graduation project of the College of Pharmacy for the year 2020-2021 entitled ”The Relationship Between AMH Levels and Pregnancy Rates”
”The Relationship Between AMH Levels and Pregnancy Rates” A graduation project for a Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy for the academic year 2020-2021 at the International Private University, supervised by Dr. Rama Ayyash and in the presence of the jury: Prof. Abdel Nasser Omarin and Dr. Iyas Moaz Othman, prepared by each of the students: Lima Al-Qabbani, Zainab Al-Habej, Hebatullah Hatahet, and Dana Al-Rajab .
The aim of the research is to study the relationship between AMH levels and pregnancy rate in women who have undergone IVF through:
- Study the relationship between AMH levels and the following hormones E2, PROLACTIN, FSH, LH
- Study the relationship between AMH levels and pregnancy rate
- Study the relationship between age and levels of the following hormones E2, PROLACTIN, FSH, LH, AMH
The research was designed through a retrospective study of women who visited the fertility center of Dr. Moaz Othman with a complaint of delayed pregnancy during the years 2017-2021.
The data was also processed using the SPSS statistical package for social sciences.
It was concluded from the research that the level of AMH hormone in the blood is not affected by the menstrual cycle and its levels do not change by using oral contraceptives, so it can be used as a possible diagnostic and biomarker for patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) , the research also found that determining AMH levels is useful in predicting cumulative pregnancy outcomes during IVF treatment, and it can also accurately predict ovarian reserve, but not a positive pregnancy outcome.
