The Faculty of Arts and Sciences began its activity with the opening of the university in the academic year 2005. Despite its modest beginnings, it has today become a faculty that possesses academic specifications comparable to its counterparts in public and regional universities. This is because it is built on three main departments:
The first – is related to providing the scientific foundation for all students of various specializations, under the name of the Department of University Requirements and Basic Sciences.
The second – is a department specialized in the study of the English language and its literature, and in supervising the teaching of English language skills to all students in the university.
The third – which is the most important and the most beneficial in terms of knowledge and economy – is the Department of Interior Design, which provides students with cognitive, scientific, and technical skills in interior design according to the latest scientific methods in teaching.
In addition to the Department of Graphic Design, which is concerned with visual communication, animation, typography and its skills, as well as color and its functions.
Throughout its journey, the faculty has attempted to secure a group of teaching staff members who are well-versed in terms of science and knowledge on one hand, and experienced in teaching methods and techniques on the other. In selecting them, it has been keen on ensuring a diversity of the academic schools from which these instructors have graduated, in order to promote variety and diversity in ways of knowledge.
As our faculty presents itself to you through these lines, we hope that all those communicating with us will provide us with their opinions and suggestions, and they will find from us all the welcome.
