Academic advising is an organized process that seeks to identify problems that hinder a student’s ability to fulfill academic achievement and interact with the demands of university life. Our vision of Academic Advising is to achieve excellence and advancement in the services provided by the International University for Science and Technology to students during their university life and stimulating their energies to achieve their professional aspirations in the future.

Providing a wide range of distinguished services that support all students on the academic, professional and personal levels during their academic journey, which in turn enhances their university experience and encourages them to make more efforts to solve their academic and personal problems to achieve their goals and ambitions.

Goal of Academic Advising:

The primary goal of the presence of an academic advisor is to guide and direct the student to choose the appropriate academic courses according to the academic plan established to successfully obtain the academic degree, and to provide assistance to her/him in overcoming the obstacles that she/he encounters in her/his studies and that affect her/his educational path, in addition to enhance communication between the students and the university community to which they belong.

Academic Advising Structure:

Academic Advising at the university is represented by a number of academic advisors at the college level, and their work is organized under the supervision of a specialized committee, which is the Academic Advising Committee at the International University for Science and Technology.
