Humans and Machines: A New Dialogue in the World of Design – A Scientific Lecture at the College of Architecture
The College of Architecture organized a scientific lecture in its auditorium, delivered by Engineer Bashar Khayyat, dedicated to introducing students to the future of architecture in the age of artificial intelligence.
The lecture was attended by the University President, Professor Dr. Ammar Nasser Agha, the Dean of Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Adham Omran, the Dean of the College, Dr. Jaafar Al-Mansour Al-Dhahabi, in addition to a number of professors and students.
The lecture focused on the future transformations of architecture, the ability of buildings to adapt to climate and energy, and the emergence of smart facades whose characteristics change like clouds to harmonize with the environment and users. It also emphasized the role of the architect as a partner to machines in developing creative visions and solving construction and environmental challenges, thus achieving the integration of cities and architecture with nature to serve humanity.
This lecture is part of the college’s plan to enhance students’ skills in various fields related to their specializations and to provide them with modern perspectives on the future of architectural design and technological innovation.
