  • The International Private University for Science and Technology Explores Cooperation and Academic Recognition Prospects in Kuwait

As part of its strategy for academic outreach and building effective regional partnerships, Dr. Ali Al-Shalabi, Advisor to the University President for External Affairs, paid an official visit to the Cultural Attaché at the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Amman, Jordan. He met with the Cultural Attaché, Dr. Mohammed Abdul Latif Al-Jarallah, to discuss ways to develop academic cooperation between the two sides.

During the meeting, Dr. Al-Shalabi presented a comprehensive overview of the university since its establishment, highlighting its academic journey, diverse specializations, official accreditations, and key scientific and research achievements.

He also noted that the university is the first private Syrian university to receive official recognition in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, reflecting its distinguished academic standing and the confidence placed in it by regional educational institutions.

The meeting addressed the mechanisms and procedures for university recognition in the State of Kuwait, discussing the necessary organizational steps and opportunities to enhance academic cooperation and facilitate the enrollment of Kuwaiti students wishing to pursue their studies at the university. This meeting comes within the framework of the university’s orientation towards expanding its international relations network, which contributes to consolidating educational integration between Syria and Kuwait, and supports the Arab higher education movement towards greater openness and academic integration.
