University President Meets with Head of National Quality and Accreditation Authority to Discuss Enhancing Educational Quality and College Accreditation
University President Professor Ammar Nasser Agha met today with Professor Omar Hamada, Head of the National Quality and Accreditation Authority, and Dr. Tayseer Al-Masri, a member of the Authority’s Board of Commissioners.
During the meeting, several academic and practical issues were discussed, most notably the results of the recent national examinations in the Faculties of Dentistry and Pharmacy. The accreditation process for the two faculties was also discussed, along with developments in quality requirements and related national standards. Emphasis was placed on the importance of enhancing the quality of the educational process according to best academic practices, which will contribute to raising the level of education at the university.
The meeting was attended by: University Secretary and Dean of Student Affairs Professor Waad Omran, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry Professor Mohammed Salem Rakab, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy Dr. Habib Abboud, Advisor to the University President for External Affairs Dr. Ali Al-Shalabi, and Quality Director Ruqaya Al-Nasouri.
