The Ministers of Higher Education and Education Visit the International University for Science and Technology’s Pavilion at the Damascus International Book Fair

The International University for Science and Technology’s pavilion at the Damascus International Book Fair, on its fourth day, was visited by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Marwan Al-Halabi, and the Minister of Education, Dr. Muhammad Turko. They reviewed the university’s most prominent scientific and academic publications.

The ministers were received by the university’s secretary, Dr. Waad Omran, who welcomed the ministerial delegation and presented them with an overview of the latest scientific and academic publications, reflecting the university’s leading role in promoting knowledge and scientific research.

The ministers were accompanied during the visit by a number of official and academic figures, including the Deputy Ministers of Higher Education, the Head of the Planning and Statistics Authority, and several presidents of public and private universities.

This visit is part of a series of tours that included the pavilions of universities participating in the fair, emphasizing the important role played by Syrian universities, both public and private, in strengthening the academic presence within national cultural events and supporting the advancement of higher education and scientific research.
