Distinguished Academic Achievement: Dr. Adnan Emad Al-Ashqar Appointed to the Scientific Advisory Committee of SDEWES 2026

He previously participated in the SDEWES 2025 conference with a research paper on marine propulsion systems and sustainable technologies as an alternative to traditional systems, contributing to building a more sustainable and efficient maritime future.

*A graduate of the American University of Sharjah, he holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the American University of Sharjah. He has distinguished scientific research in the fields of alternative and solar energy, mechanical energy storage, hydrogen production and storage, and sustainable additive manufacturing.

His selection to the advisory committee is a culmination of his scientific career and reflects the global recognition of the International University for Science and Technology, enhancing its standing in the international academic arena.
