The Academic Advising Committee held its second meeting for the 2025/2026 academic year, chaired by Professor Dr. Ammar Nasser Agha, President of the University, and attended by Dr. Waad Omran, Vice-Chairman of the Committee, and all committee members representing the faculties and departments.
The meeting addressed a number of topics on the agenda, most notably the issue of student ID cards and English language placement exams. The importance of following up on all academic decisions and issues, especially those related to new students, was also emphasized.
In this context, the need to guide new students and familiarize them with the university’s academic regulations was highlighted, including how to choose courses for the second semester, understanding academic averages, and awareness of procedures related to academic warnings.
