The university president honors Dr. Bilal Zaarour for inclusion in Stanford’s list of the world’s best scientists for 2025.

In a move that highlights the International University for Science and Technology’s commitment to promoting and supporting scientific research, Professor Ammar Nasser Agha, President of the University, honored Dr. Bilal Zaarour, a professor in the College of Arts and Sciences, after his name was included in the Stanford list of the top 2% of the world’s most distinguished and influential scientists for 2025, according to the Stanford University Rankings, issued in collaboration with the international publishing company Elsevier.

The honoring ceremony was attended by the Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Waad Omran, and the Director of University Activities, Prof. Walid Houshan.
