  • The General Assembly meeting of the College of Architecture to discuss the work plan for the academic year 2025-2026

In the presence of the University President, Professor Ammar Nasser Agha, and the Dean of Student Affairs, Professor Waad Omran, the College of Architecture held its General Assembly meeting today to discuss the college’s work plan for the 2025-2026 academic year.
At the beginning of the meeting, the University President commended the efforts made by the college’s teaching and administrative staff, emphasizing the important role they play in enhancing the quality of education and raising the academic standard. He also listened to faculty members’ contributions regarding the most prominent challenges they face in performing their duties, emphasizing the need to address them as quickly as possible and within appropriate administrative frameworks.
For his part, the Dean of the College, Dr. Jaafar Al-Mansour Al-Dhahabi, emphasized that the focus of this year’s work plan stems from the principle:
“We are one family… working and succeeding together.” He pointed out that cooperation and integration among all components of the college is the foundation for achieving the desired goals.
The meeting included discussions of several key points, most notably:
* Implementing the descriptions included in the study plan for each course
Organizing the mechanisms for supervising and judging student projects to ensure fairness and transparency.
Strengthening the role of academic advising and activating periodic follow-up of students.
Strict adherence to deadlines for submitting grades, especially in practical subjects.
Preparing in advance for academic activities, including conferences and the permanent seasonal exhibition.
Emphasizing adherence to official working hours, considering it an essential part of professional commitment.
The meeting concluded by emphasizing the importance of working as a team and the need to continue developing the educational process to keep pace with scientific and professional developments in the field of architecture.
