A strategic cooperation agreement between the International University for Science and Technology and the Syrian-German Medical Association to enhance scientific research and medical training.

In a qualitative step towards expanding the horizons of scientific cooperation and developing joint research work, Professor Dr. Ammar Nasser Agha, President of the International University for Science and Technology, signed a strategic cooperation agreement today with the Syrian-German Medical Association, represented by Dr. Malak Damirieh. The agreement was attended by the Dean of Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Waad Omran, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Habib Abboud, and faculty members from the college.
The agreement aims to support scientific research and enhance training and qualification in the medical and pharmaceutical fields, contributing to public health issues. It also focuses on enhancing cooperation between researchers and experts from both parties through:
• Participating in the implementation of research, studies, and scientific activities.
• Holding specialized scientific meetings, conferences, and seminars.
• Organizing training courses for medical and research personnel.
The areas of cooperation include several key areas, most notably:
• Exchanging scientific and technical expertise and consultations between researchers, pharmacists, specialist physicians, faculty members, technicians, and students.
• Cooperation in conducting clinical and practical research and training using the technologies and capabilities available to both parties.
• Exchanging publications, scientific journals, and published research.
The agreement shall enter into force from the date of its signing and shall remain in effect for a period of five years.
