The International University for Science and Technology Organizes a Field Visit to the Sukkar Trading Group

As part of its ongoing efforts to connect academics with practical realities, the University’s College of Business Administration and Finance organized a field visit to the Sukkar Trading Group.

During the visit, students were introduced to the company’s organizational structure and the operating mechanisms of its various departments, with a special focus on human resources, marketing, and quality control.

The student delegation was accompanied by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Mohammad Hamra; the Head of the Business Administration Department, Dr. Majd Saqour; and Dr. Ammar Kouka, the visit organizer.

The Dean of the College emphasized that this visit is part of the University’s strategy to strengthen ties with private sector institutions, create training and practical opportunities for students, and open up employment prospects for outstanding graduates. He emphasized the importance of this step in preparing qualified graduates for the job market.

The visit program included presentations by the group’s department managers, discussing the company’s organizational structure and the work mechanisms within its various departments.

The visit also included a field tour of the group’s facilities to gain a closer understanding of the real work environment. At the conclusion of the visit, the university administration extended its thanks and appreciation to the management of the Sukkar Trading Group, headed by General Manager Mr. Hassan Sukkar, Human Resources Director Ms. Enas Hassoun, and all the staff for their warm welcome and organization. The university administration expressed its hope for strengthening future cooperation between the two parties to serve the interests of students and graduates.
